Brightsider is warbling wurli and funky drums, slinky bass lines and soulful vocals sliding into the pocket where Winston Surfshirt, Matt Corby and Jamiroquai meet.
Produced in Dan’s Margaret River home studio and polished up with James Newhouse at Lamb Chop, the group punched out half a dozen singles in their first year, the first of which was covered by Perth indie-folk lord Michael Dunstan on RTR’s “Slightly Odway” and dubbed “a must have for the soundtrack to summer” by Around The Sound.
With plenty of fun on the horizon, the 4-piece's upbeat smoothie of soul, funk, RnB, groove and South-West sunshine is a must-see, certain to leave a smile on your face!
